Resettlement Courses for Service Leavers

If you're leaving the Armed Forces and are looking to start a new career within the Gas, Electrical or Oil Industries, then Steve Willis Training is the perfect Centre for you to get your skills, experience and qualifications in place before you start looking for employment.

We offer a range of Gas and Electrical Courses which are suitable for Service Leavers with all levels of experience, whether you're completely new to your chosen industry or have experience of working with gas or electrics either from your time in the Forces or from before you joined.  We are also able to offer Oil Courses for Service Leavers with some experience of working with Oil systems.

All of our Course Packages are certificated to Level 3 and are therefore ideal for Service Leavers who have ELCAS funding.  Your Resettlement Officer will be able to offer you the best advice with regards to funding, and we can help you choose the right courses, so if you have any questions then please call our Training Advisers.  

If you want to book a course, all we require from you is confirmation that your forms have been approved, signed off and sent off.  Once we have this we will happily confirm your places to you in writing, providing you with the knowledge that your place is safely held so that you can plan your other work and family commitments around your training.

We have worked hard to gain a good reputation with our Armed Forces customers and you can see testimonials from some of our previous Service Leaver candidates around our website.  Additional to this, we have strong relationships with a number of Resettlement Offices and with the Career Transition Partnership.  With regards to location, we are ideally placed just 10 minutes from HMS Nelson, so if you are not local but want to attend one of our Courses, please speak to your Resettlement Officer as they may be able to arrange for you to stay at HMS Nelson for the duration of your Course.
