First Aid at Work 2 days (Requalification) (12 hours)
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations state that all delegates undertaking this course must provide evidence that their qualification has not expired beyond 28 days of their expiry date, as shown on their First Aid at Work certificate.
This can be either a copy of their existing qualification or a letter from the organisation that previously qualified them confirming this. If any applicant is unable to provide this evidence, then they will have to undertake a 3-day course in order to re-qualify.
Re-qualification training should consist of at least 12 contact hours including final assessment, but excluding breaks. The course will include a revision of topics covered in the 3-day programme, together with any new First Aid procedures which may have been introduced since the last course.
The assessment process will be the same as defined for the 3-day programme. There are three re-cap papers, which will be made available to our learners throughout the two days. Should the assessment date for this course be later than the original expiry date as shown on their certificate, then the date shown on their new certificate will be backdated to that of their original date.
