Corona Virus Information for Customers

2 December 2020

Latest news:

At Steve Willis Training the safety of our staff and customers is our top priority and we are complying with all government advice. We have carried out the required risk assessment and the training centres are open for a revised programme of short courses and Apprenticeship Training.

We are open as normal for Apprenticeships and short courses, following all government rules and guidance as a further education and essential training provider. Both centres are currently in Tier 2.

FACE COVERINGS MUST BE WORN by all adults and students in both Burgess Hill and Portchester, when moving around the training centres in  communal areas where social distancing cannot easily be maintained. Face coverings can be removed when sitting at desks in classrooms, or when training in workshops, as directed by the course trainer.

We are limiting numbers attending the centres and are Covid-19 secure with reduced class sizes, social distancing and safe working practices in line with the latest government updates. To maintain a safe training environment and workplace for our customers and staff, please contact us by phone or email rather then calling in person without an appointment.

We are ensuring our training centres are well ventilated by opening windows and doors. As we move into winter this means that the classrooms and workshops will be colder than normal. Please bring extra clothing with you when attending your course.

We're working hard to fit in everyone who needs to catch up with their training and assessment now we're all back to work. Social distancing means we've had to reduce class sizes and spaces are limited. Please help us to help you by attending any course you have booked unless you are unwell - there's high demand for all the courses, but we can't fill your space if you cancel at the last minute. If you cancel late, we'll have to apply the cancellation fees as per our terms and conditions.

You are welcome to come and see the arrangements we have made for your safety before your course, but please telephone first.

Our apprenticeship training programmes are also up and running with Covid-19 secure arrangements in place. All apprentices and their employers are being kept up to date.

If you have any questions you can email us at However, we’re sure you’ll understand that it may take us a little bit longer than usual to respond.

You can also telephone us on 01444 870860 / 02392 190190. If you get our answering service, please leave your full name and telephone number and we will call you back as soon as possible.

We will update our website, but for the latest news follow us on social media:
