Satisfied learners
20th July 2017

The results of the latest government survey into learner satisfaction in the FE sector have been published this week.
Overall, learners are very happy with their experience, and private sector training organisations such as Steve Willis Training ranked highest with a satisfaction rating of 90% compared to 81% at general FE colleges.
We are proud to report that when we surveyed our own learners, Steve Willis Training scored an outstanding 96.5% based on the same measure.
As decision time approaches for school leavers waiting for their exam results, it is interesting to note recent findings from the HE sector. According to the National Student Survey, in 2016 university course satisfaction came in at 86%, while the 2017 Student Academic Experience Survey found that just 35% of respondents felt that their course offered good value for money.
With results such as these, more and more young people are turning to apprenticeships as they look to continue their education and plan for their futures.
A gas, plumbing or electrical apprenticeship at Steve Willis Training offers the opportunity to learn the skills for a career that could last a lifetime, without taking on a lifetime of debt.
