Reassurance on Registrations

Two of the major heating engineering registration bodies have issued guidance to reassure engineers whose qualifications are expiring during the Coronavirus lockdown.

Gas Safe Register have issued an update explaining the temporary permission from HSE for engineers to remain on the Register during the peak of the lockdown measures.

Meanwhile OFTEC are offering registered oil engineers an extension to their registration. More details can be found in their Coronavirus information for Heating Engineers

We understand that our customers may be worried about not being able to renew their qualifications during the lockdown period. We’ll be doing everything we can to help everyone “catch up” when we are able to return to work.
