£3000 incentive payment for taking on an apprentice!

20th August 2020

The government has introduced new incentive payments for employers who take on apprentices.

Until 31st January 2021, any employer taking on a new apprentice will receive the following incentive payments from the government:

£3,000 for 16-18 year olds

£2,000 for 19-24 year olds

£1,500 for over 25s

And with 100% government funding for apprenticeship training for 16-18 year olds and 95% for 19+ apprentices, this is the perfect time for anyone thinking about bringing an apprentice into their business to take the plunge.

At Steve Willis Training we have several fully assessed young people ready to start their gas and electrical apprenticeships. All they need now is an employer.

Our Apprenticeships Team are ready to help you make the most of this opportunity. We'll match you with the perfect candidate for your business, and guide you every step of the way. Once your apprenticeship is up and running we're here to support you and your apprentice from their first day at work until they're fully qualified.

Get in touch to find out more. We'll send you our step-by-step guide to recruiting an apprentice and a selection of CVs so you can see the great gas and electrical candidates we have at both Burgess Hill and Portchester.
