As part of the Standard, there is a choice of 5 pathways which are all ACS aligned.
The employer chooses the pathway the apprentice will follow at Steve Willis Training.

For an apprentice to be able to undertake a particular pathway, the employer must ensure that they have the work range relevant to that pathway. This must include the safe installation, commission, decommission, and ongoing service and repair of gas pipework installations and appliances.

The course content of the standard is delivered on a day-release basis, with some block attendance and additional days, at Steve Willis Centres over 40 weeks of the year. During the thirty months at the centre, training will be provided in the classroom, the workshop and via remote e-learning.

We also offer opportunities to gain qualifications in Unvented Hot Water, Essential Electrics and Energy Efficiency either during your apprenticeship or after completion.
