Our Guild of Gas Fitting Operative (GGFO) Domestic and Commercial Pathways are IGEM/IG/1 compliant Managed Learning Programmes, approved by EU Skills through our certification body ERS.

Suitable for experienced gas engineer applicants who can provide evidence of their existing gas qualifications and new entrants who have completed an approved managed learning programme such as our (GGFO).

Suitable for experienced gas engineers who can provide evidence of their existing gas qualifications and New Entrants with transferable skills or experience (previously known as Category 1 and Category 2 applicants) who have provided a satisfactory portfolio of evidence of their on-job training with a Gas Safe Registered business.
If you are a New Entrant to the gas industry but do not have the skills and knowledge or any relevant related qualification and/or experience, are entering employment for the first time or changing career direction, you are classed as a New Entrant without Transferable Skills or Experience. We offer a comprehensive range of training for New Entrants to the gas industry.
Our gas trainers and assessors are all experienced engineers themselves and we have a fantastic reputation for fairness while assessing and getting the best from the candidates who come to us. We believe in making sure that every candidate who comes to us for a Gas course, leaves with the knowledge and ability to conduct their work safely and confidently, and we will spend as much time with them as necessary until both of us are happy with your skills.
Depending on your level of experience, you will be classified as one of three standard gas industry categories of candidates for gas courses.
