Who is your employer, and what does the company do?
Here4Heat Ltd, they specialise in gas, oil, and LPG installations, servicing and repairs. Air conditioning installations, and servicing and also heating care plans.
What year of your apprenticeship are you in, and what apprenticeship programme are you on?
I am currently in year two of my Gas Engineering Operative Level 3 apprenticeship.
What motivated you to apply for an apprenticeship, and how did you first hear about this opportunity?
I knew what I wanted to do from a young age, and from my Dad influencing me. Steve Willis Training was at a careers day at my school, and I got in contact.
What has been the most rewarding or enjoyable part of your apprenticeship so far?
Making clear cut progress, and I enjoy turning up to work everyday which makes it that bit easier.
Can you share your experience with Steve Willis Training? How has it supported your learning and development?
Yes, Steve Willis Training has taught me everything I need to know to pass an exam. I cannot credit them enough.
What new skills and knowledge have you gained during your apprenticeship, and how do you apply them in your work?
I have learned the basics since starting my apprenticeship and learnt the importance of being on time!
