This course is for electricians with practical experience in the inspection and testing of electrical installations, who wish to become certified in the design, erection, and verification of electrical installations. The qualification is ideal for qualified electricians wishing to expand or update their professional knowledge and skills.

It covers all aspects of installation design including detailed circuit design calculations to the 18th Edition, in particular the implications of the Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installations about the design and erection of new electrical installations. Only candidates who hold a current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification and a City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations 2391 or 2394/95 can be accepted on this course.
