Core Commercial Gas Safety – Initial and re-assessment

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in core areas of gas work common to catering appliances. Assessments cover dedicated catering establishments and food technology areas of educational establishments.

Tests gas safety competence in the work of installation, commission, exchange, disconnect, service, repair, and breakdown of non-domestic catering appliances in the COMCAT3 grouping – deep fat and pressure fryers

Tests gas safety competence in the work of installation, exchange, disconnect, service, repair, breakdown, and commission of non-domestic gas catering fish and chip ranges COMCAT4. Fish and chip frying ranges manufactured to customer specification, normally assembled on-site to meet the requirements of the shop front
