We're looking for a part-time Trainer to work with our Electrical Apprentices at our Portchester training centre.

Are you an experienced electrical trainer looking for a fresh challenge? Or are you an electrician with experience in the trade and skills to pass on.

This role is for around 24 hours a week, starting in December.

If you're interested in finding out more, please contact our Apprenticeships Manager Jake, who'll arrange an informal chat with you.

Get in touch - we'd love to hear from you.

At Steve Willis Training we're serious about safety with a comprehensive Health & Safety programme covering all aspects of our business - now we're expanding our Health & Safety team.

We're looking for a Health & Safety lead for our two training centres, covering all the disciplines of gas, plumbing and electrical for apprenticeships and short courses. Sitting alongside our Quality Coordinator role in the heart of the business, this post will be part-time initially.

It's a great opportunity for someone to bring their knowledge and expertise to a role which will develop into a key part of our Quality strategy. The right candidate will probably be from a construction industry background with knowledge of the gas and electro mechanical trades, but we're interested in speaking to anyone with the right skills, qualifications (NEBOSH / IOSH), and experience to take on responsibility for Health & Safety at Steve Willis Training.

We are looking for people to join our roster of part-time Invigilators supervising classroom assessments at our Burgess Hill training centre.

Assessments usually take place Monday - Friday during office hours, and there may be evening and weekend work available during busy periods.

No technical expertise is needed, but invigilation or education experience would be helpful - you will be looking after a group of engineers as they sit their assessments under official exam conditions.

The hours are variable, and this could suit a retired person or someone looking for flexible work.

For further information contact or call 01444 870860.

We are recruiting for two ACS Gas Assessors to join Steve Willis Training, assessing domestic and commercial gas.

We're looking for people with previous experience of working within the heating and gas industry, ideally holding a full range of domestic / commercial gas and LPG qualifications. Experience of assessing and an Assessors Award Qualification are desirable but not essential - full training can be given.

The successful candidates will be strong communicators, self-motivated and organised, with a flexible approach.

These positions will be based at our Burgess Hill training centre, with some travel to our Portchester centre near Portsmouth also required.

If you're interested we'd like to hear from you - we can arrange telephone interviews during lockdown, ready to start work when training and assessing resumes.
