Steve Willis Training are looking to employ an experienced electrical professional for our full-time Electrical Installation Assessor role. We have centres in West Sussex and Hampshire, with a portfolio of around 250 apprentices.
This role is open to professionals with assessing experience but also those wishing to move into education, to help develop and nurture the next generation of electrical professionals.
The Electrical Installation Assessor will be responsible for:
- Liaising with the other members of the department and Curriculum Leader to facilitate efficient assessment processes for learners
- To plan, design, and deliver assessment programmes/sessions and facilitate learning in line with course aims, objectives, mode of assessment, and accreditation
- To monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and effectiveness of assessment processes, sessions and own practice
- Be willing to travel throughout the South of England and occasionally beyond. A company vehicle will be provided, which can be used for personal purposes subject to HMRC requirements
The Electrical Installation Assessor will need to:
- Have a level 3 NVQ qualification in Electrotechnical Installation
- Hold AM2/AM2S/AM2E or a gold card
- Have flexibility and responsiveness to working hours, patterns and arrangements
- Hold a full and clean UK Driving Licence
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
The Electrical Installation Assessor will need to have or be willing to obtain:
- An assessor award
- A level 2 teaching qualification
